|
The goal of this study is to learn the effect of SRTP using a newspaper to influence old people who have Alzheimer’s Disease(AD) dementia. The concentrate matter, and purpose of this research is to see the effect of language descriptive discourse by using news stories.We made an experiment that would check the effect, before and after testing. Subjects are considered dementia patients, so they were assessed every 5 sessions. We kept the experiment basic, and the rules regarding the subjects during treatment. We used the newspaper of part of the experiment. Newspaper was something that patients had experience with before their diagnosis. They read the paper again and again and could understand the main point of the article. The newspaper effected the treatment by stimulating the sense of sight and hearing. According to the results, we could see the improvement in their ability to express language. In the event, Story Recall Training Program using the newspaper is effective for Alzheimer’s disease patients. It improves their conversation ability of descriptive discourse, by improve in expression of language.
